KPR -- Differential Stabilizer Mount
KP Race Engineering is proud to bring you our differential stabilizer mount for your Genesis Coupe!
Our differential stabilizer mount finishes where Hyundai left off. The factory Genesis differential is supported by three mounting points and has the provision for the forth on the differential cover. We engineered a forth mount to fill the void out of a CNC aluminum mount with a delrin bushing between the case and mount.
With this additional mount the differential will be more securely mounted, keep truer pinion and axle angles under hard clutch operation and on off throttle performance; ideal for those with higher horsepower goals, avid racing and track use.
Installation is straight forward, just drop your rear sway bar brackets, slide the mount in, bolt down and go. Available in a silver or black finish. Grade 8 allen head bolt included.

Is this ok? Hyundai specifically states not to use that mounting point, I was wondering about adding to that just for the extra support but Hyundai told me not to. Wonder why..??

We have tested this part on our vehicle and have found no issues. As with any race based suspension part there will be added noise (slightly increases differential gear chatter) and vibration (because the rear end is being stiffen you will feel it more throughout the car; similar to installing an engine torque dampener or aluminum subframe bushings).
