The H11b are exactly the same as H11 except for a tab, which is very simple to modify. Many, many Genesis Coupe customers and Hyundai Elantra owners have installed them with no problem.

hey Paul, do you know for sure what the high beams are? I ordered my highbeams from Canadian tire but I got the wrong ones, I thought they were H7's but it looks like they are actually H1's.

I am not really sure- unless you live in a very rural area, I would not recommend changing high beams to HID due to the lack of ability to "flash" them as a signal.

*blink blink* why does everyone think I'm trying to switch my highbeams to HID? Just for the record.. so everyone knows... it is ILLEGAL by SAE and DOT standards to install HID's in ANY housing that is not designed for them (example: the Genesis Coupe Highbeam housing). What I'm doing is installing GE Nighthawk bulbs that are Halogen to increase how much light I get.

Hello,
It's illegal to install any kind of non-manufacturer-supplied equipment. The fact of the matter is that the Genesis has projector housings which are suitable for HID conversion.
You're just going to be wasting your money on those GE Nighthawks- the light output will really not be that much greater.

I got my kit today but it's snowing so I can't install them, but that wouldn't help me anyways because I have no idea how to hook this up.. I'm sure with time I could figure it out but I was just wondering if you guys have posted a "how to" anywhere on YouTube or something
