I don't think so, if anything, they will lose a little power over time.
    Wearing them in won't help.
If they don't lift out of the box, performance will never improve.

the second install went great with the short shocks.
now I am no metro male, and i cant lift the doors from inside the car.
I think the shocks are too light, theres no way Dana will be able lift them.
    pm off to FlyRyde.
    i'll keep everyone posted.
They looked a bit light compared to the shocks we were first shipped.
I thought they may not be able to lift the door when I fixed opened the box on these new shocks but I didn't want to say anything until I actually installed & tested them.
Let's see what Chris & his people at Vertical Doors suggest.

Coupegirl, when you have a cance, empty your PM messages. It says you're full & can't receive.

Unfortunately with the cold up there the 550's might be a bit light if the temp is around 50º. In Cali and Florida the 550's are dead on. Today was like 80+ out here, and even 590's might be a bit much when its that warm out. The problem with using higher pressure shocks, is that when the weather heats up there in Spring/Summer you dont want a shock that's so strong it wants to lift up when its not supposed to. We're gonna send Coupegirl some 590's and pray to God we never have to pay for postage up there again, lmao.

    G) from what I can tell ,, if the shocks are nitrogen gas the temp should not matter.
