G) over this weekend i got both hindges on and they fit great
VDI and FlyRyde great product...
after i get new shocks from FlyRyde the fenders will go on then project will be complete..

Go ahead and give it a shot with the shocks you have. I'll cross my fingers and hope that they only did the paperwork wrong, and actually sent the right shocks since Oversoul said they fit. I've been waiting to hear back from him, but he couldn't get to his car till today. If they work they work, if not, we'll get the new shocks sent out Monday. Its not that I dont want you to get the parts as much as I dont want to burn a good 60-70 bucks on shipping from VDI to you and back if we dont need to. It'll kill me if the shocks you have are correct and somebody just screwed up the paperwork at VDI.

I would like to know what the difference is in the shocks.
If the difference is in power, you don't need stronger shocks.
If the difference is in LENGTH of shock BODY. Then yes, a shorter shock is really needed. The included shocks are, in my opinion, 1/4" too long.
A shorter shock would make for a quicker cleaner install with a LOT less adjusting.

OK, short shocks shipped with tracking PMed to you guys. Yeah the short shocks are actually 550s and are the intended part for this kit. You'll be happy with the feel of the doors with these on there for sure. Thanks guys!
