Default SNEAK PEEK -- KPR Genesis Steering Angle Kit

It was only a matter of time... Genesis steering angle modifications are underway….

From the factory Genesis coupe’s have only 39 degrees of steering angle. We are currently hitting 54 degrees of steering angle without any wheel well clearance modifications or the proper offset. All steering angle degree tests were done with the toe alignment set to 0 degrees.

For daily driving it will lower your turning radius, which will lead to easier U-turns and parallel parking. The modification does not change the steering ackerman so the steering response will still remain the same, but you will just be able to achieve more steering angle from lock to lock.

    KPR,

A bit off topic but are you guys running Enkei RPF1's? I am thinking about getting them in black like Rhys

The modification does not change the steering ackerman so the steering response will still remain the same, but you will just be able to achieve more steering angle from lock to lock. The steering wheel turning degrees from lock to lock is increased. Since the steering rack is not utilizing the whole travel of the steering rack there should not be any premature steering rack wear. We are still in the developmental stage in testing will provide any updates as we go.
