    Default Replacing pad and rotors?

Has anyone yet replaced the stock pads and rotors on there coupe yet? I have noticed the stock system without the brembos is a little weak for the speed and weight of the car, esp the 3.8. I was hoping that I could improve the braking without breaking the bank lol. I was thinking keeping the stock calipers and setup but maybe putting some Hawk pads and maybe even better rotors. Hawk claims their pads increase stopping power by like 20% or 30% while also increasing longevity and maintaining a streetable ride. I have Hawk pads with prostop rotors on my 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo SS and they seemed to have made an improvement over the crappy OEM replacements that preceded them. Just wanted to hear your guys feeback.

Wow, I really feel the same way about my 3.8 GT. After driving my X5 around and then getting back on my Coupe, I feel a significant difference between the two. Sure, one's a SUV but BMW are known for such sensitive braking systems. I really wish that hyundai worked on this a little for the non-brembo GCs. I hope there will be a cheap way to improve our stock systems....

I'm thinking of upgrading my Brembo's to 6 piston. Who's interested in my Brembo's from my track?

Wow 6 piston Brembos for front and rear are like ridiculously expensive! Like $5000-$6000 right? 380mm?
