Default Best Suspension for Daily Driver

Have any of you tried any of the new suspension setups? I was curious about a good setup for lowering and giving it a better more aggressive stance. I don't plan on tracking the car much so a fully adjustable coilover setup might be too much for me. My friends at SeoulfulRacing said that their Neotech height adjustable coilover setup might be best for me. Would springs only say like H&R or Eibachs be enough? What do you guys think?

NeoTech makes some nice stuff, but to be honest they tend to rush their products to market. VERY little R&D is done.

I'd hold off until ARK's coilovers are released if I were you. I saw them when I was in Cali last week and they are friggin sweet! ARK's doing their last-minute testing (all R&D was done in Korea) and will be unveiling these within the next week or two.

Mike, it's great to have you here with your knowledge. I'll keep an eye out for ark! If you know the guys send them our way for vendor section or link exchange. Does their new setup have any special features or adjustments? When you get your coupe do you plan on making it a daily driver or full track car?

    Ak. Not really.
Neotech was the first company to introduce any type of aftermarket coilovers in the world for Genesis Coupe(because they were involved in unveiling Genesis Coupe drift car and demo cars with Hyundai.. remember the drift demo even before Genesis coupe was being sold in Korea?).
Yes I heard that their first suspension had bit of problem since lack of datas, and after getting feedbacks they revised their productions 3times to make it suitable for street use.

There are 3-4 major "known" suspension companies in Korea, and we've experienced all them in the past since our New Tiburon years with track/street/drag set up. If we were a wholesaler, we could have carried all of their brands but we are sticking with Neotech only because we are very confident of their quality.

Not going to say much but just so you know ARK suspension is also made by one of those companies or by some unknown company as well. It's not like they have their own factory or brands in Korea.
Just wanted to give some inputs because what Mike was saying wasn't really true.

We have Neotech coilovers installed on our Genesis. We are not very happy with the streetability and performance of the coilovers. The spring rates are too high/stiff for the vehicle's weight and this is even with the dampening on full soft. If you hit a bump and have passengers in the back seat they're most likely going to hit their heads on the roof (happens all the time with us). The Neotech coilovers are more suited for the track than the street, where the surface is much smoother. We have a more thorough write up on Neotech coilovers in our drift thread on GenCoupe.com. Hope that helps you out a bit!

What kind of spring rates did you guys get? and are they revised version (the latest model came out few months ago) because our demo car does not feel like that.
It's not bouncy like some cheap coilovers and it's pretty smooth but stiff (My butt is already used to soft ride driving my daily Lexus RX350 and it still does not feel hard while it can take corners)
When we took our demo car to local performance shop where they are specialized in alignments and corner weight set up specifically for streets and race use, they were very impressed with the quality of Neotech suspension.
I also forgot to mention that Neotech supposed to have this part copyrighted so no other manufactures can make "this" part for rear set up for Genesis Coupe in Korea. I am not sure if that can apply to outside of Korea but I heard many things about noise coming from the rear if you do not change "this" part along with aftermarket suspension. I can tell you what "this" part is in detail if you want.

Yet again, we've used and tried most of coilovers on our Korean Genesis Coupe demo car and we were not happy with any other brands but Neotech so far.

I own a pair of STANCE GR+ coilovers on my SC400 and they're defintely on the stiffer side. They're definitely built for quality and they are well known in the supra community, but if you want comfort for daily driving you might want to look elsewhere.
