Any new thoughts on this topic from everyone?
I just got a set of Tanabe springs (prototype) but they aren't installed yet and if I do, it will likely be a while with winter and all.
I'm more interested in coilovers for adjustability since I drive on a lot of rough roads and my driveway is actually pretty darn steep..

didnt i see a set of teins out there as well? i am very happy with my Super streets on my elantra (made for the tib but swap over to the elantra platform very easily.)

if when i replace the suspension on my gen coupe it will be with coils its the only way to go.

    Default Best street setup? STOCK!

Knowing what went into developing the Genesis... if you want streetability, just do a 24mm rear sway bar, leave everythiing else intact. I you lower the car or change to stiffer spring rates you will get better track performance at the expense of daily drivability (is that a word?) Any major mods to the suspension may actually make it WORSE at the track and less desirable stiffer suspension for daily use. Few people realize there is a spring resonance frequency between the front and rear axles that when disturbed will lead to a good looking low car that has lousy performance on the street and at the track. There are several quite instructive articles in another Genesis forum for those that want more info about this topic. At least my 2 cents worth.

read Turn In Concepts thoughts...at sed forums but its down.

they pretty much said that you throw the geometry off if you lower the car...the contral arms are alread parallel to the ground...i just like the pillow ball mounts that coils provide...having them to adjustmy camber on my car makes life sooooo easy when doing my alignment.

i know it made a big difference in my car when i raised it up an inch or so ( i was slammed!...what did i know...apprently nothing) so after a discussion (emails back and forth and pics sent to them of MY suspension) they made suggestions and i'm following through with them and boy it makes a huge difference!

they know what they are talking about for sure!

I would say stock would be best bet for daily driving... If ya want a little better and you dont have a track model maybe buy off people who had track parts and are getting aftermarket coilovers... Point of aftermarket coilovers isnt "height" tho most of you guys seem to want to lower you car which does ruin proformance a bit. The point of them is adjustability for track conditions.
