Picture of Stock Front Strut / Suspension Setup

    Preparing front Suspension for Removal

    Stock strut VS. ARK Coilover

    Installed Coilover

OOPS had the left and right shocks on the wrong sides…We had to remove lower portion of shock tower and swap between passenger and driver sides

Another Problem….No Spacer were provided. Not sure why there was such a large GAP to begin with. Perhaps ARK can Comment on this. Solution was to use Washers to fill in the GAP.

    All Installed and Looking Good.

Lowering the car for the first Time….

    Waiting for an Alignment

Oops…looks like the rear dropped a Bit to much…does not look even. Need to readjust height

We had to remove bolts for the rear suspension in order to get to the adjustment rings…needed 2 people to adjust. Got it done and here is a final pic of the car lowered

I was very impressed overall with the quality and construction of the ARK DT-P Coilover system. So far the ride feels like stock…very comfortable and smooth on a nice road. I was very surprised at how well the new suspension was able to absorb bumps. The Shocks were set on medium I believe …and will have to play around with these settings. On corners and during spirited driving you could really feel a difference, the car “ handled like it was on rails” – comment by tech at Hyundai dealer in barrie. The cornering was amazing. I will update this in a couple of days when I get the change to really PUSH the car. 

I think the car may still be settling …so will post before and after pics shortly.

Attended the Genesis meet at Next Mod. The Suspension setup received positive reviews. Will post pics shortly.

Also attended another meetup with a larger crowd at Option JDM in Markham.

Well... It's been a couple of weeks driving the car. I must say the car handles really nicE when it is pushed hard. When driving normally it feels comfortable and ver smooth. Also never scraped the bottom . Probably cause the spring rates are higher than some of the other coilovers on the market

Very nice. I've got ARK products on my Tiburon and I love it. This is definitely a must have mod when I get my GC. Very nice. What are your future plans as far as mods go?

Can I get these in Purple and with no drop? Roads here are way too rough for a lower ride hight.
