Default 25mm spacers on my XD too wide? pics

well i test fitted the 25mm spacers in the rear ( i installed the rear 5 lug hubs and bolted up the tib rim).

here is what it looked like before hand. then after.

and i have tons of space from the tire to strut...so putting a considerable amount of negative camber will not be an issue (if need be in the future)
this is with a 215/45 r 17....i will be going with a 215/40 in the future btw...i'm in the hatch jumping up and down and the second test was trying to push it side to side...but those that know its really hard to move it.

vid clip of my bouncing the *** and tring to see if everything clears...looks like it will

yeah but that would be a travesty for my 2.0 to turn...as is my buddy (which was shown in the racing stripe thread) went to the track with them and lost about .5 of a sec in the 1/4...they are fucking heavy!!!

as is the tib rims are about 3 lbs heavier then my old (but beat up and bent) konigs with different tires and the lighter caliper i'm going with it will even itself out for unsprung weight but not for rotational weight (tires will make a difference...going with a 215/40 in the future...or if i can find them a 225/40

i ordered up some 15mm spacers so its not too dramatic...and will give me room for a 225 in the future.

hoping to have this all done by the meet!!! i guess my the beans are spilled

So what's the deal with wheel spacers? Any particular brand/material/things I should know if I wanted to get some?

um...the ones i just picked up are aluminum with a magnesium alloy stud (iirc)

some pics the rears are done....having some drama with the fronts though....wrong front hubs(from a v6) then my ball joints on my control arm took a dump!...not looking good...but when its done it will be almost new everything under there! new hubs, bearings, control arms (used 90 bucks for both...couldnt pass it up...plus my car is up on jack stands at the moment!) front calipers (from an SE tiburon, big, red, and alum) new rotors (11.2 upfront from 10.1) and pads. not to mention some nice tib wheels!
