Default Powdercoating OEMs for a Bathurst: What color?

I'm running my winter wheels now, and my OEM 19"ers are ready to get a summer paint job. I'm deciding which color to powdercoat them, and I'd love to hear some suggestions.

    My first thoughts:
    • Matte black
    • Piano black
    • Gunmetal chrome
    • Blusteel chrome

Looking for a distinctive look, but not something that screams for attention. It's my DD, and I have to live with it for eight months of the year.

I'm not sure what BluSteel chrome looks like, but blue wheels on a black car wouldn't look very good IMO.. black wheels still just look like steelies to me, so I'd recommend gunmetal out of the options you gave, gold/bronze have been known to look pretty good when paired with other minor accents of the same color.

I've been waiting for someone to do a two-tone powdercoat, but I guess I might have to be the first..

I've had trouble finding good pictures of the color. Blusteel is also "Black Blue","Blue Black", etc. It's basically a very, very dark blue that almost looks black:

These are close but not quite the right color. Many tools and weapons actually have a blusteel finish. I haven't seen the color against a black body (maybe I'll Photoshop something) to see if it would really look good.

I did see a picture of a GC with dark chrome gunmetal wheels, but I can't seem to find it again. That one really looked good...

I wonder how hard it is to get a color transition like this.
