ive been around forums for a good while and i noticed alot of forums have a rep system for their members.. when you like a post from somebody or if you dislike someone's post you can give them rep. its a fun tool and it just helps newbies who are looking for help, this will let them know who is probably the pest person to ask for help on an issue or whatever.

The best example i can give you is the rep system on crookedh.com their rep system is really good.

Let me see what I can figure out as far as rep goes. It may be as simple as installing a mod on the board.

the one thing i notice with a rep system is that sometimes people will give you rep and ask for rep in return, and edventually leading to a popularity contest. another problem is generally some one well trust advice from some one with more rep than some one with less even of the info is worng

I've never dealt with people like that, it's never happened at the many forums I'm on, hopefully people won't abuse the rep system
