Individual Vendor Threads

I foresee this solving a lot of "customer stealing" issues in the future.

Every paying vendor gets his own thread to post products, sales, coming soon's, etc.
Vendors cannot see other vendors threads.

Thoughts?

That is a really great idea actually. I think the way that the forum permissions work is we can only dissalow viewing by usergroup and not individual users. So yes they may be able to view eachothers posts but keeping their sales and products seperate might be nice. Have any example sites I can take a look at for ideas?

Why let them see the competition? It will only benefit the users in the end

I do like the concept though because it makes sorting through items and sales by vendor a tad bit simpler. It's nice when you can just click "VendorX" and then bam all of their items are listed. I mean I guess you could visit their official site too to achieve the same results.... We'll play with the idea for sure though. I really appreciate user responses.
