    Angry Dealer Experiences.

I wanted some feedback from people with their dealer experiences in the Central Florida area. I brought my 3.8 Track spec from Jenkins in Leesburg and will not be using them again. Their worshop is the worst I've experienced.

At the first oil change service they messed up by using ALL 6 qts of Mobil 1 that I supplied them and at the second service they carried out a tire rotation front to back which sent the traction control all 'Screwy" and into safe mode. This is despite the technicians supposedly being trained on new vehicles and the actual wheels being marked with an F for front and R for rear.

Can someone recommend a good dealer in the Orlando area that I can trust my car to please?

I purchased a Genesis Coupe about 6 months ago over at Crown (awesome dealership) in St. Petersburg. I first went to Courtesy (anything but!) Hyundai in Tampa and had one of the most absurd dealer experiences. After explaining I wanted a the 3.8L with a manual transmission, I was led to the 2.0L with an automatic.

As it turned out they didn't have the trim I wanted in a color I would take. But I had yet to drive the car and wanted to see how it drove at least. I asked if I could test drive one of the 3.8s they had there. Instead the salesman asked what it would take for me to buy the 2.0 AT (something he asked me about 4 or 5 times while I was there). I wanted the larger displacement engine so there was nothing and I reiterated this.

I was then told I couldn't test drive one of the 3.8L cars unless I was going to buy it. What?? I'd never even sat in one before. Heck I'd only heard of the car a few days prior. I wanted to see what it was like to drive it. And I wanted a color other than what they had. Absolutely absurd. I had to haggle for 20 minutes at the dealership before they FINALLY relented and went to get the keys.

I realized how absurd the whole thing was and while they went to get the car ready, I called Crown to see if they had 3.8s on the lot, which they did. I walked out of Courtesy and went over Crown and test drove two different Coupes. Since they didn't have the one I wanted either they were smart enough to set up a dealer trade with another dealership to get the one I wanted.

Don't waste your time here. Absurdly pushy and rude salespeople who must have learned how to sell cars on another planet where people buy their vehicles sight unseen without ever sitting in them.

This is one of the reasons Im really worried about going to get mine in about a month. I don't want to deal with this kinda BS. I know exactly what I want and I know Im probly gonna have to have it ordered to get what I want (since no dealers in my area seem to carry the Track Trim) and I know they just gonna be annoying as hell to get what I want. If anyone bought any of these in the NJ/Tristate area without a problem let me know where. Id rather drive an hour to get one at a dealership that doesnt give me issues.

You guys are lucky, I went to Woodfield Hyundai(Schaumburg, Il) when I was looking for my 3.8 Track stick. First off, since i am only 21 they did not take me serious at all while i was taliking to one of the salesmen. The maneger then proceded to try and sell me a grand tourning trim with AT when i specifiaclly said i wanted a Track stick. His reply was that the spoiler was to big and ugly ansd that the paddle shifters were just the same. B***S***. next day i went to Ohare Hyundai (Des plaines, IL) they had 3.8 track, MT and in the black i wanted, they took care of me and actually was not that marked up.

I was pretty lucky to have such a great salesman at David Maus Hyundai in Deland. I went in (I was born in 87 so ) and he gave me that look but as soon as I took control of the situation and basically schooled him on the car he knew I wasn't in there to just fool around. I got my car just a couple of weeks later after they accepted my offer and I've been a happy coupe owner ever since!

    Default David Maus/Universal Hyundai

So ive been chatting VIA email with Universal Hyundai and they seem to be doing good bargianing via email with me.. my military auto insurance company referred me to them.

I got a quote for a 2.0T Track black for

    MSRP $27675.00

    Universal VIP Price $24187.00

Thats prior to haggleing or anything.. Im a prospected buyer, so IDK what people paid for this car. Im also from Deltona so David Maus would be my first place to go to, but money talks of course!
