    Default WTB: HID Headlamps

As long as the HID's are a "plug and play" type of deal, I'd like to buy a pair from someone if they have them. So if someone would tell me if they are plug and play that'd be great. I have a Grand Touring but they took out the HID's from the GT package for 2011
PM me with price shipped if you don't leave near or in new jersey. thanks

    1) They are plug and play in terms of turning on, however.. they will not self level.
    2) Why not just buy an HID kit from DiodeDynamics? Your headlights have an SAE approved HID projector lense so the kit isn't illegal so long as you choose bulbs in the 4300-8000K range.

hmm if they're plug and play, i wonder why the dealer refused to put HID's on for me. oh well. Thanks for the info snoopy. I looked at it and it's only $79.99 definitely considering purchasing. But the only thing I don't know is what the 4300-8000k means, I know it has something to do with intensity or something, wanna give me a brief overview of that, like what's brighter the lower or higher value?

4300-8000K is the colour temperature in a Kelvin rating. Basically the colour of the light produced. 4300K is a yellowish light but reflects white, 6000k is a white colour that reflects white (closest to natural sunlight), 8000k is a noticable blue colour but still legal. 10,000k is purple, 20,000k is green.
Brightness is measured in Lumens, while many people say that 4300k or 6000k is brighter than the rest, really, they're not, but the reflected light is just easier for you to view hence the higher preceived brightness. The DiodeDynamics kit is bright but not offensive.

DiodeDynamics sounds like the most cost efficient plan for good HID lighting without breaking the bank on OEM HID housing/lamps.
