New Member - South Florida Tuner Shop

My name is Art, I work with Velocity Factor. We are a performance shop in Boca Raton, FL.

I wanted to make this post to introduce ourselves to the community and to let you guys know about some of the projects we have going on in development.

We've been serving the South Florida performance community for almost 10 years now as a tuner and install shop. We are authorized dealers for Tein, CP-e, ARK, Carbonio, Advan, aFe, Apexi, APR, Cobb, Cosworth, Fujita, Injen, Innovate, Forge, Vibrant, Volk, and many other brands.

We are now beginning to develop some of our own products, and are focusing a lot of attention on the Genesis. We are looking to develop some intake, exhaust, and maybe even body products.

We are in the final stages of becoming the exclusive FL dealer for PowerAxel products as well. We will be offering the PowerX modules, as well as custom tunes to go along with our local Florida elevation/climate or any mods that are on your car.

We are currently running in the NASA series. We were the champions last year in the TTB division, and are running TTA this year.

We had a really nice photo shoot with one of the genesis coupes that we are working with. I cant post up the link to our pic page since I dont have 15 posts yet, but if you guys would like to check it out, just PM me.

Love the avatar! Great to have a PowerAxel official tuner on the forums. Also it will be great working on details for the January meet. This should be a great opportunity for everyone. Could you give us an idea of some of the products you are working on?

2.0 Turbo?
3.8 V6?

For the 2.0T we already have an intake that we developed which uses a Blitz filter.

Next think we want to do is develop a PowerAxel fuel map that will be optimized for Florida climate and elevation. We have done this for the Revo platform, and our Audi/VW customers seem to really like it. I think it would be a good thing to have for genesis as well.

Other things further down the pipeline include exhaust upgrades and perhaps some body components as well.

Just wanted to let you know that we will be setting up a booth at a couple upcoming events.

First, on December 12-13 we will be racing our 2 shop EVOs at Homestead Speedway. We would like to see you all if you would like to make it. Also, the track will be open to the public on these days, so if you get registered with NASA you can race your coupes on the track as well.

Also, we will be setting up a table at the January 9th meet as well.
