Hello to all,

Bought a Silverstone 2.0 T Premium on February 27th 2009. I found your site while trying to find information on winter tires for the Coupe on the net.

Having been a proud owner of a 1997 Tiburon FX for more than 11 years (480,000 km), I immediately fell in love with that Black Coupe when I saw it in the showroom.... Only once I saw a light grey "Silverstone" that I race back to the dealership to modify my order... Salesman grunted a bit, but since the car was still in Korea, they did not gave me to much grief !

Received the car 6 weeks later.... Love it !

Unfortunately had the "opportunity" to smash it on October 1st.... A little old lady with two friends forgot to look before turning left.... The Coupe provided great protection !

$ 11,000.00 CDN later (paid by my insurance company), they returned my Coupe and so far, the car drive great...

Ok, intro are done,,,

Question.... I suggested to my dealership customer service technician that I would prefer to reduce the width of my winter tires in order to increase adherence and control... He told me that it would not be a good idea and that I should stick to Hyundai recommended size 225/55R18 in front and 245/55R18 in the back...

Any comments and suggestions ?
