Thread: Hi from Sunny Bahrain

I've been visiting this wonderful Forum since about a couple of months, and it was definitely the trigger that finally got me to buy a GC.

I picked up a Silver 3.8 a couple of weeks ago and am loving it. Here in Bahrain we don't get to choose the specs its either a 2.0 or 3.8, however i'm glad to say the 3.8 is fully kitted with the 19" wheels, Track suspension, Spoiler, LSD (you really need it in a sandy environment!). I paid USD 27,777 on the road so from what I read I don't think I got ripped off.

At the moment its the only Silver 3.8 on the road, and so I get a lot of other drivers trying to get me to race at the lights. I'll say by far its the Infiniti drivers such as the FX and G35s that have agreed to take on and the GC does itself proud. Occasionly I get the Golf GTI driver who does not know what he is up against which is left embarrassed with the results. The ones to what out are the Corolla drivers, they seem to be on a sucide mission....
