Thread: New Gen Coupe Owner

Hi Everyone,

I just bought my red 2012 2.0T with manual gearbox and have managed to rack up about 700 miles in the first two weeks here in Southern California. No mods yet, but once we get into slow season at the office...

I want to thank you for a great forum. I've been reading some of the posts and am getting some good ideas on were to start with mods. While I'm an accountant during the day, I've done the majority of the mechanical work on every vehicle I've owned for the past 30 years. I've wrenched on everything from motorcycles to heavy trucks (courtesy of the US Army) and look forward to improving my Coupe, not that I don't love it as is.

I'm not a racer and I hope to find and install mods that will improve overall driveability as well as performance and mileage. I think the car is a great platform and the reasonable entry price just makes me want to spend money to make it better.
