Default Hello From Nashville, TN. Just purchased a new 3.8L GT coupe

Hi All, I am leaving the Hyundai Sonata Forumn after trading in a 2011 SE 2.0T. Took ownership of a new 2012 Gensis 3.8 GT coupe. Black with BL/BR seats seems to be a nice ride but rather disappointed in the performance of the engine when comparing it to the Sonata 2.0T. Seat of pants feel is rather dramatic the 2.0T was a blast to drive very minimal turbo spool up lag, from about 50 mph and up the feel is on the scale of my previous 2006 Pontiac GTO. The only reason for my trading in of the Sonata was to get a coupe and rear wheel drive. I sure hope after getting some miles on the coupe and some minor add on equipment IE CAI/? it runs better than it does now.

My automatic also has a lag when I punch it from a stand still. No tire spin, burnout or anything. What's up with that?

Does it have to do with the traction control being turned on? I know if I punch it sometimes it thinks it's detecting wheels slip or spin and like bogs down. If you turn off traction control you should notice better launches.
