Hey everyone. I've had my genesis coupe since summer and I love it. I'm just now getting into the forums and sites, but I'm looking to do pretty much every engine mod possible maybe even add a bigger turbo. I know a little about cars but would love to befriend all of you for your help and because you all own a genesis!! I been reading all the threads about different information but I'd like to have contact with more people!! Nice to meet y'all!

Welcome to the site! Hoping to see more pics of your car soon. I really like the Karussel White coupes and I think with that VIS carbon hood you have planned it will look really sharp. For some big power gains with the stock turbo try the PowerAxel PowerX tuning module.

Ok. appreciate the suggestion. I was maybe thinking of getting a turbo add-on (only one I have seen is really a garrett turbo)..any thoughts please? Also I know for maximum performance IF I CHANGE my turbo I will need to do a ECU update..(is that similar to a PowerX tuning update)? As well as injectors, and exhaust, ect., with the garrett from what I understand to gain advertised horsepower...? Would any upgrades be completely necessary with the PowerX update? What about if I'm wanting to put in my BOVs, downpipe, and a full-turbo exhaust in asap.. should I wait to do the tuning module until after those for max performance if I do stick with the stock turbo?

i have the garrett 350 turbo. your goign to need newer injectors that can keep up with it. powerX will do the goods aswell fi you dont want to pay for the turbo upgrade

What gains can I get with the powerX? whp? And I'm not against doing the turbo upgrade. I actually think I favor that option, but wanted to ask around and see if anyone had done a turbo upgrade yet and make sure of the satisfaction level of such.. So when they say it will give you gains up to 400 hp? does that really mean I'm getting THAT much out of it? Anyone actually installed and ran times.. I appreciate you guys help
