I've had my genesis coupe for around 3 weeks now

Welcome to the club....I was from Allamuchy (near Hackettstown) but now hail from WNC (Western North Carolina).

I have my GC 3.8 Track M/T about 2 weeks now, and I'm lovin' it. However I do have a problem with how (not) smooth the ride is when shifting from first to second. On the slide down from first, it feels like I'm hitting something before I get into second.

I traded a 2004 Acura (also M/t) which had 112,000 miles on it and it shifted as smooth as a babies butt from the first day I picked it up, until the day I left it on the lot when picking up my new GC.

I'm a bit concerned, so I'm taking it to the dealer 12/06, and we shall see what they can (if anything) do about the roughness.
