I bought my Silverstone mt6 380GT on 12/27/09 from Puente Hills Hyundai. I traded in my '07 Miata GT. I'm getting older (52) and getting in and out of the Miata was just a little harder than I liked, lol. Plus, I can't fit golf clubs in the Miata's trunk. Previous cars owned - '99 SVT Cobra, '96 Mustang GT, '91 Camaro among others. I currently own a '94 Miata (supercharged track car) and a 2000 F150 to tow it with. I'm pretty set on just a few things my cars have to have: RWD, manual tranny and at least decent performance. My 'Coupe delivers all of that and is great looking too. When you factor in the bang-for-the-buck, you can't beat it. My only regret is not getting a Track, for the LSD. This is a great forum and I'll check in often.

I can just barely shoehorn two golf bags in there in a sort of diagonal position and the trunk lid hinges just barely clear. Just barely, lol. But then, driving to the course is so much better than just tossing the clubs in the back of the pickup and cowboying it down there ;). The best part though is just being able to play golf this time of year - some of you in the "non-southwest" are really having a hard time, I know.

    [SoCaL] Meet @ Puente Hills Hyundai (3/27) - BBQ/Car Wash/Raffle!!

You should come on out, since you bought it from there anyways. Date is updated to 4/3/2010 though to accomodate one of the PHH road race cars and hopefully ModeRacing can come out.

There is another meet at Tuttle-Click an Irvine Dealership on 3/14/2010. The info on this is on another forum but I'll post it here if you would like. There aren't too many SoCal GC owners that frequent this forum.

Yes, I saw the PHH post and I'll certainly try to drop by. I'd love to see the racecar. PHH has a really nice fishtank in the showroom that my salesman David takes care of for them, he's a real expert on tropical fish. Whenever my SO and I go by the dealership, she's always hovering around that tank and picking his brain about fish, lol.
