Thread: Hi from the Great White North...

Hi all,

Looks like a few other Canucks have landed here due to inactive boards in Canada. I am in Waterloo - which is about an hour West of Toronto.

All being well I pick up my Genesis 3.8 (base manual) tomorrow. Trading in my Tucson which was a great road trip & camping vehicle but time to return to my (irresponsible) roots. I previously had a Tiburon - which like the Genesis was/is huge bang for your buck.

I picked the 3.8 for the engine and goodies but noticed a lack of 2.0 manuals here in Canada so assume they are more popular due to the tuning options. I hope I'm not overbuying with the 3.8 but know I won't likely do any performance mods. That said, definitely will be tinting windows - and massively impressed with the grills/badging I've seen on the site!
