New to board - Performance improvements straight away...

Hey All... I have purchased the V6 Grand Touring with Nav and all possible upgrades. I also had the dealer put on the rear spoiler because they couldn't get me a Track Edition. Manual Transmission of course... Car goes in for some work tomorrow to get some more power. Getting an AEM Cold air intake and Poweraxel Tune Stage 1 Flash. I'm told I should increas HP by about 25-35 HP. Sound right? They will be performing a Dyno w/ wideband before and after to gauge improvments. This is the first Hyundai this place is working on. Also looking at high performance manifold for more power and sound. BTW, I also own the V8 Genesis Sedan with Tech Package - Crazy good sound system in that car. Two completely different cars, love them both !!

Any feedback on performance improvements for the V6 coupe are appreciated...

Congrats on the purchase! I haven't followed the V6 mods too closely but I think the Ark exhaust sounds the best so far.

Sparta is about 40 minutes from Wayne... Sparta is Northwest, great roads for performance as the turns are great, long and rural and very well maintained and lightly traveled.... Oh....and the police are few...

If your up in Wayne in the next few weeks and would like to meet for lunch and check out cars, I'd be happy to. I'm always looking for an excuse to drive and talk about the car...I'll be away 2/6 - 2/13 but other than that I have a pretty open schedule..

Thanks for the manifold name... I'll mention it to the place that is working on my car now. One step at a time !! Love the money saved on these great cars for great prices, but I'm just a working stiff !!
