Drive "The Dragon" Anyone?

Yeah it can be a very dangerous place if you aren't careful. My advice:

1. Never... ever cross the double yellow. Even it if looks clear on the other side.

2. If you are going on multiple runs.. take the first one or two runs slow and just get the feel of the place.

3. If a faster vehicle comes up behind you... pull over. Don't let them pressure you into moving faster unless you are ready wreck your car. lol

If you go during the summer months or late spring there are some very talented photography companies that hang out there all day. They will take some great pictures of you and your car! I've got some of me in my old Tiburon.

Hey, never thought I'd get so many people interested in the run... hope it works out. I'll post when I have dates firm...will be doing it at least 2 times this year. I'll probably run down on Friday night, but could arrange to meet anyone interested on Saturday morning...maybe grab some breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Maryville, TN then run half the dragon (great Overlook half way through), lots of beautiful roads and if interested could supply a "suggested route" from Knoxville area, through the Dragon into Robbinsville, NC, great road circles back into Gatlinburg, TN ... lots of options in the Smokey Mtn National Park. I'll post closer and see who's interested. I may even be able to get some discount on a motel & great restaurant in Gatlinburg if anyone interested.

Twice? Well, you organize this one for the spring and we could do another in the fall? I just know already I can't make it in May but I have a lot of interest from people not even on this site in going up there for a run
