    Congrats on the purchase!

Wastegate adjustment is fairly easy to do, especially if you follow the instructions. A couple twists (540-720 degrees) should give you an extra bit of grunt down low. If you tighten it too much you might throw an overboost code, if you do just reset the ecu and loosen it a 1/2 turn (180 degrees).

Welcome to the site! The easiest and free mods to do right away are the intake silencer delete and the wastegate actuator. They are both quick, free, and painless. What plans do you have for the car? And what color did you end up getting the coupe in?

I did the WGA adjustment on my 2.0. I'm at one full turn, after backing off from 1.5. Took all of 5 minutes to do. you'll need 1 10mm socket and/or 10mm wrench, and small needle nose pliers. I recommend doing 1.5 turns first, letting it settle in for a tank or 2 check your bost, and make any adjustments needed

Just free up the air that goes into the motor, and allow the it that goes out to get out as fast as possible. Downpipe is a great first mod cuz it frees up a lot of backpressure and will allow your turbo to spool easier and faster. Fmic is a must too. Our istsy bitsy go cart fmic just isn't gonna cut it. Catback will be good too, let the air flow better than through the stock muffler in back. Intake- if ur usig stock turbo a drop in filter will be enough to allow more air in and gain you some quick hp.

Well, yeah... The stocker is like a foot thick (grossly over-exaggerating but still, f'ers thick) heh.

I haven't looked much but is there a dryflow drop in performance filter? I don't really wanna do the oil ones.
