My 2.0T custom intake!

well i was able to get my hands on an intake kit for a great price so i figured i would give my fab work a try to see how a custom intake would look and turn out.

im over all pretty pleased with how the finished product turned out and it sounds great! dont hear it sucking air in at idle but when you start to get on it you hear it sucking in alot of air and makes the blow off valve sound a bit louder.

let me know what ya think. i was thinking of buying a few kits and making some to sell but idk if mods would allow a group buy from a non-sponsor.

with this intake i replaced all the factory air tubes that went to the turbo. now all smooth plumbing is installed.

Looks pretty nice. FYI, if you do make some for sale, the manual transmission coupes have 2 hoses on the intake.

thanks for the info! if i do get intrest on these ill have the option of 1 or 2 hoses on the intake.

Excellent DIY. Looks just like what most of the other companies are doing. No idea why they charge hundreds of dollars for similar product and probably the same gains

thanks. honestly i thought it was going to be alot of noise. but while i was driving it around today i can say i did notice an increase in torque. it feels like i woke the car up. so im sure once i get some exhaust on the car it will feel even better.
