NOT exactly sure but i think they just mask the reflective section along the bottom of the light and dip the housing in a black coating so i has a nice uniform look. I know KoreanAutoImports.com sells the set of superlux's dipped already.

I got my taillight covers from luminx earlier... I love the black look! but I had to get rid of them! the vinyl material just wasnt giving me that clean look... so I ditched them... now im thinking of picking up those black lux LED taillights!

I don't really know who they are... but there was two 2.0 in the last hellaflush show... a red and black one... other than that not really sure... btw I installed QB blues and 3K HID on the car! So much brighter on the road!!! my rear taillight covers from laminx are on the way as well as a set of yellow fog light covers!
