Ya know, someone else has asked me about my head lights too! I've not done anything to them. I'm thinking maybe it's just the lighting that's making them look "off color". Hmmmm..."

I knew it! I have a base model, and i wanted to try change my chrome headlights to the 'hyperblack', or whatever it is, through the dealer but they said they dont make any black headlights from factory!?!? They must be tired of seeing me come in haha. Question tho, I know my car has halogen h11b's... if i got the the pair of HID headlight bezels, is my car wired differently for the halogen lights? or is it universal between the two types?

I can't find anything on the HMA site saying you can't swap the headlamps, but there are a lot of things that might get in the way. The HID housing has more holes in it for inserts like the OEM ballast and auto-leveling device, not all pins are present on the halogen headlamp power connector, and I don't know if that affects anything.
I've looked into changing out the headlamps for mine too, love the smoked chrome look. The headlamps though are expensive OEM, I've only seen them for sale online at New Hyundai Parts and Accessories for $1000 each!!

Yea seems like a totally different setup with the HID's, and for the price its probably better ordering from Import shark, or just opening up the headlights and just painting them myself.

The OEM HID's are a direct replacement, really just a plug'n'go deal. The only thing I suggest is that you tape over the auto leveling plug, to keep dirt out and reduce the possibility of a short.

ImportShark can order the KDM HID assembly's, they've got the proper ballasts, white reflectors (so sleek looking) but they look like they're the bright chrome though...
