Talking Found this scary guy at work today...

One of the maintenance technicians in my building sent out an e-mail today with a little warning for the rest of us.

    All,
You may want to enhance your awareness when you're traveling through the
facility. We caught this guy last night on top of the start batteries
for generator 5 in bldg. 13A.

I have owned snakes as pets in the past and actually handled this one today. It was about 4-5 feet long. What is really odd is that we are in a big concrete jungle with little to no wild life near us. This must have been someones pet or something that was let go in the city.

Haha! Wow what a beauty! Majestic even The snake was put in a sandbag and one of our co workers took it home to release into the wild. He lives in a very woody area. He promised me he'd give him a meal before he let him go

I heard that there is a real problem Florida with people turning loose unwanted pet snakes (pythons and boa constrictors) in the Everglades. Read that the population of non-indigenous snakes in the Everglades could be as high as 100,000. Personally... I can't stand snakes. Have a phobia.

Wow, in Philly those can only be seen at the zoo. We have a buch of dirty pigeons during the day and a lot of rats at night.
