1. Bright, cool, sunny day..roof open, music hittin', hair blowing everywhere..I hear car horn honking. I look over at next lane to see another lady driving a Genesis 2.0, she smiled and put the thumbs up, nodded and smiled. I returned the gesture.
2. Coming out of wine store, attendant collecting the baskets back up and started asking me about the car. Couldn't believed it was Hyundai.
3. Next door neighbors son asked for one after seeing mine. Of course, Dad said no way, but did say "Girl.. you look good in that car" to which I replied " I know!"

It’s been a little over a year with the GC and people are still noticing her:

1.) Came out of a store last week and saw two guys standing at my car looking confused.
They were circling it and taking pictures, LOL!
I talked briefly to one of the guys and he asked me if it was a Bentley.
He didn’t believe me when I told him it was a Hyundai. I had to point out the crooked H on the wheel caps to convince him.

2.) While getting gas this week a guy slowly drove by while looking her back end over.
He then drove past an open pump and stopped at the pump next to me.
Next I hear, “Uh, excuse me, who makes your car?”
I told him and got the usual, “That’s a Hyundai?? Wow, they’ve really come a long way. I thought it was a European exotic of some sort.”

^LOL! No, it was the GC’s posterior he was looking at because he kept saying “Genesis, Genesis, Genesis” over and over.
The name really intrigued him for some reason…so I know it was the badge he was studying as he passed.

Hey all. New GenC owner here. Live in Canada near-ish Toronto, and mine is the only one I have seen on the road.

Pulled up to a Starbuck's drivethru and while they were getting my drink ready one of the employees kept coming back to the window to look.

FInally he opened the window and said... "Hyundai?" And I said, "You bet."

He said he thought at first it was a nice looking Accord Coupe but realised it had better lines. So he was checking to figure it out and saw the Hyundai emblem on the wheels. After a minute or two of conversation about specs and such, he simply said it was a gorgeous car. The girl behind fixing the drink was nodding quite enthusiastically.

I've already had a few people slow down to pull along side at traffic lights. And one actually reversed his truck to come back along side me to get a good look.

This car truly is a sweet looking machine. A real head turner. And I LOVE the fact that people stop and think "What the hell IS that?!?!?"
