Like the kia, thought they did a good job on it. But why trade, if you like the genesis so much, I think I missed that thread.
Hey Guys and Gals,
I just wanted to ramble a bit about a tough decision coming up for me. I will be turning in my 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 on March 11 2012 after 36 months of pure enjoyment. This vehicle has been a great daily driver and even more fun weekend car. I had the enjoyment of modding it a bit, going to meets and creating helpful YouTube videos to assist the Genesis Coupe community. The big question for me now is...
What vehicle should I get after trading in my Genesis Coupe?
Depeneding on the timeline and releases of a lot of cars I have been considering several options.
Hyundai Sonata - Bigger, roomier sedan with much better fuel economy.
Hyundai Elantra - Cheap daily commuter car with enough space for wife and kids.
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe - More power, more style but same interior space and fuel economy isn't optimal.
Kia Optima - Badass style, big sedan with same features and fuel economy as the Sonata.
Scion FR-S - Depending on release date would be a hot new coupe to test the waters with. Fresh new projects to tackle and mod!
Subaru WRX - Great sporty sedan with lots of potential and history. Less than impressive interior.
VW Passat - Newly redesigned and big room and feature packed. Also diesel version gets great mileage and huge fuel tank.
There's a bunch of other I've been considering but have you all been looking at anything new for 2012-2013?
Thanks!

Get a big nasty 4x4.
I am a big fan of having the "latest and greatest" new thing. I usually buy stuff like cars and electronics and trade them in toward a newer model after 3-5 years. I really do enjoy the Genesis Coupe but I am ready for a change. I will for sure be giving the 2013 Coupe a test and possible going with that but my other concerns at the present are that I would like something with 4 doors and better rear seat access.
As for the big old 4x4 that's not something I've been looking at just due to fuel economy but thanks for the suggestion![]()

Also check out this video. This is called the Hyundai i30 which will be released in the US at the Chicago Auto show as the new "Elantra Touring" I believe. Looks damn good to me.
