Oversteered and fish tailed into a ditch, broke most of my rear end.
I thought it'd be kinda cool if everyone shared their first experience with oversteer considering I just had mine today....(yes, I'm a n00b, but how do you expect me to oversteer with a Subaru Forester :P).
Today I took my best friend for a ride in my new GC, she was already impressed with the car itself before I even drove it, so I was like, why don't I impress her even more and go really fast around that small traffic circle over there, it was a bad idea. Hammered the gas, back kicked out and I somehow managed to not hit anything and make it through the exit from the circle I was planning to take. It was SO SCARY, I will never underestimate my 300+ horsepower again, but I bet it did look cool from a third party view.
At least my first oversteer experience wasn't as bad as my friend in his '02 WRX, where he oversteered from a stop while making a left turn and he countersteered into a guard rail hahahah
well i'd like to hear some interesting/funny oversteer stories GO!

I think the best solution to all of this is to enforce more maneuvers via our driver's test for licenses. I feel like right now the test require so little that nearly anyone can drive out on the roads. If we had some training on how to correct your car in case of oversteer or loss of control that would be sweet.

^ yeah we need to be more like europe....they have track days where you go and actually DO some of the things that would happen on the road...not just here is a 20 question test about what the fines are for DUI and when to turn your headlights on. its rediculous...ANYBODY can drive here.
btw my first expierence was an 88 bmw 325...almost crapped myself, but all ended well....then i kept doing it. i'm eager to get out on a track and do it safely though. and being in the fwd club sucks!

Canada has a program but it's optional, it's called Young Drivers, and it teaches you how to get out of bad situations by practicing those situations... it's not as good as the euro drivers test but it's better than just getting handed a piece of paper.
I over corrected thats what happened for me.
