Prepping a Coupe to Hibernate

So if I were to be leaving my car for an extended period of time, what sort of things should I do? It will be in my garage the whole time but I know I should put a battery minder on it. Is there anything else I should do to make sure she's in tip top shape when I break her out of the garage?

Fuel stabilizer is always good. Change the oil before putting her away. How long will she be sleeping?

Then that's all you need to do..........make sure you add the stabilizer and have a full tank of gas.

put her on stands with the tires off the ground, seals and bearings.
our GC has been on stands all winter.
can you have a friend start it once a week or spin the wheels?

I could but I'd prefer not to let anyone have the keys to my baby while I'm away ;) I don't know if stands are realistic...my garage is really a tight fit.

on the tires for 4 months will be very hard on tires,seals bearings and struts.
there is alot of storage of cars in the north and not many are left on the wheels, take the wieght off

Fuel stabilizer in the tank, bump up tire pressures to 50lbs or so to avoid flatspots and just leave it. No need to take the weight off anything. You WILL NOT harm anything.

Get an older family member to come start her up and move her around the neighborhood once a week or so?
