Just gotta say, I was at Next Big Thing last night and Rise Against was the headliner and they just killed it during their set. Awesome show.

got to see Rise Against in Winnipeg last winter it was awesome, right of center bout 3 or 4 rows up, great seats. They're really good live.

I was center of the amphitheater but probably more like 20 rows back. Their set was only supposed to go like 40 minutes and the did an hour and a half. 30 Seconds To Mars had been on right before them and did about 60 - 90 minutes too. Whole concert was awesome...also had Chevelle, Anberlin, Metric and The Used. There were others but those were the ones I really went for.

Was Metric any good live? I really like their music but I've refused to see them in any way because I don't want to get jaded on appearances

yeah I thought they were pretty good. Granted...I only caught the last 2 songs of the set but I thought it was good.
