Interior light kit

Saw this somewhere in the forum but can't remember, so if someone knows please post link so I don't double post.
Just got my DD Stage 2 LED kit today, gonna install it tonight post pics soon!

OK something really f*cked up when I was installing the lights.. my fob now won't work, my doors won't lock unless I do it manually or the car is running, trunk won't open unless the car is running and I have a really faded door open light instead of a bright one.. any ideas??

Did you pull out your fuses before you did this? Sounds to me like you blew your master fuse. Casey did the same thing.

You know where the fuse box is inside your door? There's two fuses that are under a plastic cover in there. The 10A one sounds like its blown. Its in your manual...easier to look there to see what I'm talking about. Its like P/CON Memory I believe

You probably need to use the tool that's in the main fuse box in the engine. Casey had to take this one out because he blew it out...he should know!

Dude Codefox if we ever meet in person I'm buying you a drink! You just saved my ass! I've changed tons of light bulbs before and never once blew a fuse doing it. The yellow clippy thing needs to get pinched twice inorder to get it out. I friggin traced every damn fuse that had anything to do with anything, I've never seen a "Master" fuse before either.

Review of Stage 2 LED kit:

GREAT! worth every penny. Hard to install some of them and watch your fuses :P. Some are positive sensitive so if they don't light up just flip them around. Will post pics soon.

I'm glad it helped...I'll let you know if I'm ever in Saskatchewan! (Never been to Canada...its on my list ;) ) I can't take all the credit...I only know that because Casey has the same "Oh Shit" moment as you.

I don't know if its really a "master"...I think if you pull it though its almost impossible to drain your battery if you're gone for a long time. Or something...I'd have to go back and read it!

I got the same kit for Christmas. I got the interior dome lights in (had to reverse the polarity on one, thanks for the tip) and the trunk in, but couldn't get the covers off the others.

Any tips as to how the vanity lights, glove box light covers come off? I got the license plate light box out, but it's still sealed when you pop it out, how do you get at the lamp?
