    I actually wrote DD and got the following response,

    These are a more advanced LED, so they do produce some heat. It will not damage the vehicle or the product in any way- this is normal operation.

    so i guess it does produce heat, it got hot enough where it was VERY uncomfortable to hold...

    I have a stage 2 blue LED kit, and the dome light makes no heat whatsoever..

    hmm thats odd, i'm taking them out of the car tonight. I'll post pics see if its the same one everyone else has.

    so when i went to take them out of the car, i tested them for heat again and it stayed cool...i wonder if its something that just happens when you initially turn them on...

    So for a little before you install primer, what should be the steps? Disconnect neg - on battery, remove master fuse?

    I don't want to blow anything lol.

    Can someone help me with the dome lights? Do you just pull the whole console down? I tried that, but it feels like it's gonna snap.

    yeah, always make sure you disconnect either the master fuse or the negative on the battery. I've blown two fuses cause I didn't listen to my own advice. :P

    Make sure you've removed the 2 screws from the sunglass holder. It does take a little effort but if you pull down from the front of the car it should come out.

    If you need some help I can give you a hand next week.
