On the vanity lights, you take the whole assembly out. Put your screwdriver in between the plastic and the felt and pry.The glove box was the hardest, and I can't remember the trick.

Check the manual, there are some instructions in there.

Oh, disconnect the negative battery terminal. You WILL blow a fuse if you don't.

Hot?! Yeah you have a problem. LEDs produce almost no heat...

your dome light is getting hot? thats really odd.. it's LED, they don't use as much juice.
And I never had to strip a wire to install mine.
If the dome is getting hot, call DD and ask about it cause I'm pretty sure thats not normal.

I blew a fuse with the trunk light.. accidently shorted it with my flat blade trying to get the OEM bulb out.

Vanity were my second hardest, Plate bulbs took me about 30 minutes because the cord is so damn short.

You can also just pull the "Master" fuse in the passenger fusebox and it'll prevent you from blowing anything, it's the one with the yellow clippy thing on it

Ok, so just give the vanity and glove box assembly's a lot more force then?

How about the plate lights? Like I said, I got the box holding the light out, but it seemed to be sealed. The cord runs into what looks like a sealed box holding the lamp. I got the box separated from the car body, there's very little excess cable but I got it out, but I can't get into the light assembly.

the box is sealed, you twist the bulbs out of the box. They have a rubber grommet at the bottom and they just twist and release. They are really tight, but watch to make sure you're twisting it the right way so as to not break the holders. Don't know what it looks like exactly cause I did it in the dark.

Neither the glove box or vanity should require a lot of force, check to make sure you're at the right end, should be a small notch under the lip.

I had the same issue with the dome light getting hot, I've never seen a LED that looks like the one for the dome though...I'm almost tempted to say its not an LED. I don't think its a huge issue as those lights rarely stay on that long anyways. Anyone else have this issue, I just sold my kit to someone here on the forums and if it really is broken I'd like to get that fixed before I send it to him.

Can you post a pic of the dome light? Most of us here could tell you right away if it's really led or not. If you bought it from DD then you've got like a 99.9% chance it is led.
