    Default Max A/C question

any of you coupe owners notice that sometimes max a/c is too high (cold) but one notch down is like the a/c if off. I want to get experience input because I may have an issue.

I got some responses from another forum that were very helpful. As it turns out if you are in max a/c when you start the car and switch to the next lower level, the a/c shuts down. To re-engage the a/c simply push the a/c button. kinda goofy but at least it's a work around to either rock hard nipples or sweating.

my explorer used to do this when you first got in the car but when you started driving for like 5-7 min it would work normally. ford told me that with the auto climate control, at least on fords, it has that delay to find the "actual" or "real" temp so it can work more efficiently, because of lots of variants (people get in their cars and roll the windows down, or hot car sitting in the sun on a hot summer day,...)
