Looks like a pretty cool setup. Is the new sub bigger than the stock one? It looks like from your pics that they may have had to do a little cutting/new screws were used. How does the sound compare to the stock? Happy?

its a 10" the old...8". the sub is now amplified the old 8" was amplified with all 10 speakers ans was making ratles. the dinamat clarified the sound and the 10" is powerful but not too mutch i like it...and the big point is that is does not take space in my trunk

I was just given a Rockford Fosgate amp for my car, not the best, P2002, but it was free so can't complain. I only have about 150$ CND for a sub and wiring, was looking at a Sony Xplod for the price point of quality, and I don't really want to be cutting into the metal of my car (bad enough I'll be cutting the decklid). Anyone got any other suggestions? Kinda need the trunk space so I'm really wanting to mount into the OEM location.

It looks like Crutchfield is now carrying stuff that should fit on our Genesis Coupes as far as receivers and speakers and subwoofers go.

    Factory replacement info:
    In-dash stereo
9 5/16" depth; Size code E ; Non-standard dash opening (special integration package required)

    JBL 8"
Just a matter of time, I suppose.
