Thread: In Dash Monitor Install with Stock Relocated

That site is very interesting. Wish it had more English. But it appears to me to just be a new front for the radio and an empty holder for the screen at the top. I guess that would make it easy to customize to your needs.

think i'll be ordering a kit soon. then get it rewired to the bottom.
then add in a screen on top, for dvd/navigation purposes.

I've e-mailed my friend in Korea about getting this kit. If he can provide details and possibly ship them to the US for us then I'll let you all know!

only one problem with this kit.... it doesn't have the passanger airbag indicator light and the hazard light button is shaped differently because of it. Which long of the short of it... we can't use it without buying a new button and tucking our sensor light outta sight. If someone buys this can you let us know if the dash panel has the same mounting locations?

I didnt even notice that, good catch. Where are they placed anyway?

It would be great if you could use it to read out some ECU parameters.

does anyone know where I could buy an inexpensive 7-8" LCD touch or no touch? I've been playing around with idea's for this and I've come up with something really cool that I'd love to do but it'll take cash and time.. no details yet but if someone could at least help me find a panel that would be awesome. Preferably "borderless" so I don't have to pop the LCD out of it's casing and fiddle with remounting settings buttons.

i wonder if it would look tacky with 2 screens in dash, 1 navi 1 movie?
