I think (im not an expert on circutis but I know a bit) If you make to possible loops and put a good size resistor in one of them. It will ignore the loop with the resistor and take the easier root until the easier root circuit is broken then it would be force to flow throw the resistor to grown.

    |----/\/\-----/\/\/----| < --- Resistor and LED
    |............................|
    |_____/ ________| < Reed switch
    |............................|
    |-------| |-------------| < Battery

Do with have an electrical engineer on here that can confirm?

Did you get this part figured out? I believe when you pull the door panels off, the two cables go to the door handle. Unclip the plastic off the cables and slide the cable up and out individually. Just remember which goes where.

have alot of ideas for interior lighting, just no clue how to tap into wiring to power these "light" ideas. There are interior lights I want to be powered only when the headlights are on....I dont know where to physicially find the wires or fuses. Do I need separate fuses for the led lighting?...I know they don't draw much... Also have leds installed on exterior under headlights , but unable to connect them because not sure how to go about wiring them to headlight wiring harness so they come on with parking lights but dont want them to blink with turn signals.......Anybody help?...hit me up at astroboy862@aol.com or here on forum......any help much appreciated...

any ideas as to where i can install LED strips in the rear interior of the car? The wiring isn't a problem I just don't know where to put my second pair of LEDs strips. I'm trying to avoid modding any stock part of the car. All I can come up with is building a wedge to go on the floor underneath the front seats towards the back, and they would be angled to shine at the back seats. I'm looking for a soft glow effect but I'm not sure if the back seats would get any light because the front seats sit very far back.

Hang them off the fabric trim on the bottom of the back of the seat to illuminate the rear footwells, or sell them.
I've been getting away from interior lighting mods because they get annoying after awhile when you're trying to drive.

Yea it does get slightly annoying sometimes, but they look incredibly sexy. that's why i have them all connected to a single switch. I'll look into your Idea though, even though I'm not exactly sure what you mean by hanging them off the fabric. wouldn't the strips be incredibly visible, and probably look cheaply done?

I probably wont sell them though. They were very inexpensive in the first place, so I would just keep them for future use.

    thanks for the advice.

MMM Damn man you've got the magic touch when it comes to these mods. It seems like a pretty in depth mod to get all of those little lights installed and wired in so many places but it's SUPER clean and really functional. Good stuff!
