Engine bay dress up

I never thought of that, I was just thinking of painting them or looking for that chrome kit you got.

The engine hat and strut brace are painted OEM Mirabeau Blue, wanted to go with Plum Crazy but no one can get the mix here. My paint guy thought if I stuck with OEM colours and used black and chrome to do the highlights it would look really good.

I was really nervous about post up pics cause it's so dirty in there right now.. been really hard to keep her clean when it's so cold outside. Once it warms up thought she'll be properly taken care of!

Plum would have looked really good too...a little contrast. Still, what you got rocks

it just gray decals cut with a razor blade, the +battery cap took a bit of time

I did a little painting under my hood and this is what it came out like, didn't turn out to bad. I did color the "RS TURBO" letters silver but it came out looking like crap so I sanded and just made it one color for now. Have some other ideas, so we'll see what happens.

Looks good, what kind of paint did you use?

I used a spray paint with a primer base, I have done this before on a previous car and as long as it won't get to hot there's no problem.

here's mine at the moment...

but thanks to Tom@G&M Performance, my lime green catch can should be here some time next week. i plan on getting the Luxon strut bar and frame supports all powdercoated lime green and to go along with that i'm going to have lime green intake and intercooler piping :D
i think it should contrast nicely with my red car haha

for refrence, i sent them this color as what i wanted for the catch can
