    Alright so I wasn't wrong about your OP.

    As I said, you'll need some tools, time and a steady hand. The HMA site has the how-to for specific instructions.

    @CoupeGuy
    Ya know, Snoop, I never wanted to admit this, but your advice is bullshit...
    do you mean to say that you think any advice that I've posted on this site is wrong?

    Well, I haven't read it all, so I can't say for sure, but your advice on how to remove the bezel seems sound from an academic point of view...so, I'll give your the benefit of the doubt...
    I'm the one who was an idiot for ripping off my "H" and then having to figure out how to put it back on, but, alls well that ends well, etc, etc.

    1. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery and then wait for at least 30 seconds.
    2. Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels can face straight ahead.
    3. Remove the airbag module. (Refer to RT group)
    4. Loosen the lock nut.

    5. Remove the steering wheel from the steering column shaft by using a SST (09561-11001).

    4. Remove the steering wheel cover after loosening the 4 screws.

    At this moment I can't find how to remove the airbag module, when I find it I'll post it up. That does need to get done before these steps first though.

    @CoupeGirl G)
    He's talking about the silver trim piece that goes around the buttons for the radio and bluetooth.

    From Snoopy's well done how to, I can see how it can be done, but
    it sure looks like a lot of trouble to paint silver trim black...
    that said,
    if someone actually does it, please post a pic so we can see if it
    is worth it...
