Thread: Dont have LSD but want it?

Still wish the us GT came with it! I mean base maybe not but the GT is an upgrade... Blah. I think I might upgrade to a generation 2 Genesis Coupe whenever they come out in the future.

all the GT should come with LSD!!! I think you should wait a year and you should be able to get one at the wreckers..

im sure that they all come with LSD and traction control I think it would be Canadian law for new cars??

In Canada its required that ESC and TC are an available option, but they're not yet manditory. They become manditory on all vehicles manufactured after Sept. 1, 2011.

LSD's are not manditory as an option or are regulated anything past Canadian Motor vehicle Safety Act.

Been looking into the legality of different mods a lot lately, don't wanna get pulled over and have to pay to unmod my car.

I just wanted to throw in you guys might want to check out the quaiffe LSD. I don't know if they make one for hyundais yet but it would be worth it. Its not very expensive (somewhere between $700-900 last I seen) and its the LSD used in most race cars.
Though torsen is known to be good for a production car. Quaiffes are just good period. In any application. Plus the life of the quaiffe will be double or maybe even triple any torsen brand LSD.

A tibby one would be more expensive cause of fwd. But I'll look into it and see what I can come up with.

I know you know this but not everyone can afford the monthly extra or to buy flat out. I have to use my overtime to upgrade my car, not a lot getting done cause I haven't had a lot of OT.

Snoop join the club. I stretched to get the Track because I knew some upgrades wouls be just too much.
