Arrow Does the 2013 Hyundai Genesis have a torquemeter?

Is it just us, or does the center gauge on this 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe say "torque"? If it does, then its the first car we know of to come with a torquemeter. What function could a torquemeter have and how does it work? More »

The new clusters on the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe are such a step up in quality and appearance from the current models 2010-2012. They have gone with a sleek darker material and lots of shiny chrome accents to make the Genesis look much more upscale and a lot less teenage sport coupe like the tiburon. I'll gladly trade my current gen in for the future model in 2013!

meh...maybe...you'll want to look at the Veloster turbo before you do that. I know your a big v6 fan...but man that 1.6 is going to packing quite a punch and with it being lighter...

I love that the new gauges in the 2013 model look much classier with the Acceleration gauge, Torque gauge, and Oil Temp gauges from left to right. That being said i agree with some that they are rather pointless other than the oil temp gauge, but once i pick mine up this spring and post tons of pics i will surely look in to replacing them with more meaningful gauges thanks to the now stock gauge cluster that will be there and ready to be ripped out.

The current 3.8's have the totally useless Tourqe gauge in digital format. The poor location of the gauges contributes makes them unusable unless your slowly cruising down the road so you have time to look down that low. Very poorly designed center stack imo.
