    Default How-To: Update PowerAXEL's UNAVI

    1) Loss of interior light dimmer control
FIX: UNAVi will announce by next week whether this function can be restored by using an alternate TRIP CABLE.

Temporary or Permanent Alternative: DO AT OWN RISK!
    See second post!

    2) DISPLAY button function to turn on/off the UNAVi LCD screen
    FIX: Trip.zip - 1.4 Mb

This fix will utilize the "DISPLAY" button to show the CLOCK as opposed to turning the off the LCD screen completely.

    Update procedure
_Remove the UNAVi SD card (while the car is shut off) from the media box and insert it in your computer to access the directory
_Delete the folder "TRIP" in the SD card
_Decompress the downloaded .zip folder and 'drag & drop' / 'copy & paste' into the main directory
_Insert the SD card back into the media box, then power on the system

    3) Time Zone displayed in Korean
FIX: TBA - although there is a fix for this, it hasn't been integrated with the latest OS version.

    4) Warning message before any software updates
FIX: TBA - you guys just love to "explore"

    5) Obtaining the latest OS version file for those who accidentally downgraded
    FIX: ENB7500_OS.zip - 22.7 Mb

OK, currently this update will only apply to those who's OS/APP version was downgraded by pressing the UPDATE button.

    Update procedure
_Remove the UNAVi SD card (while the car is shut off) from the media box and insert it in your computer to access the directory
_Delete these 4 files in the directory:
    luncher.exe / ENBOS001.BIN / ENBOS.TXT / ENBAP091204F.BIN
_Decompress the downloaded .zip folder and 'drag & drop' / 'copy & paste' the 4 files into the main directory
_Before inserting the SD card back into the media box, start up the car, wait about 5 seconds, then insert the card.
_Once the main boot-up menu appears, click on the "OS Update" button
_After the OS update is complete, proceed with the "Program Update"
_Check if your OS/APP version has changed

    6) Outside Temperature display beyond 100'F
    FIX: TBA

gl2009 has reported that his "Outside Temp" display past 100 degrees Fahrenheit would show, for example: 101 -> as 1, or 105 -> as 5,and so on.

Does not appear to affect Celcius setting.

    7) ENB-7500 User Manual (English Ver.)
FIX: Will be provided once the translation work is completed.

    8) Automatically mute playing music or lower music volume while voice guidance speaks over it
FIX: UNAVi states this feature may not be feasible as it isn't an OEM navigation system, but will look into it.

    9) Time/Clock display on navigation screen
FIX: TBA - Low priority issue.

    10) Map updates
FIX: Variable, outside company providing updates
get your map updates Here by signing up and registering your device. SpeedNAVI is very new to NA market so give them time as well.

*** Note: This will be updated with information as I get it

    1) Temporary/Permanent Dimmer Function Fix - DO AT OWN RISK!!

    1) Clip White and Blue/White Wires

    2) Put Insulators on ONE end of the wires, DO NOT PLUG OTHER END OF WIRES INTO INSULATORS!

    3) Should look like this, see how the one end is disconnected?

    4) Wrap securely in electrical tape, bind once with disconnected un-insulated wires out of tape, then bind again with wires under tape to secure them.
