    I think I was doing between 25-3k, but it was my first time on a drag strip in any car, so I'm not the right person to ask. ;)

    thanks for the response, thats what I was trying but i'm having trouble getting a good launch still...maybe its my tires

    remember that you have to get accustomed to the clutch release, personally i try to lunch at max boost witch is 3.5 to 4 also remember that the power band in this car is very short (2.0T)

    3K-4K with feathering the clutch a little seems to work for me.

    Yea Im shifting into second almost as soon as I release the clutch... first gear is so short...

    6 speed transmissions have very short ratios and this is why the 09 WRX is faster from 0-60mph than the 09 STI, this is because with the STI you have to shift twice (1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd) and the WRX once ( 1st to 2nd )
