Thread: Where do you park your Coupe when not at home?

As far as possible. Far enough enough that no sane human would want to park near me.

today I parked on the other side of the parking lot, away from everyone so no one would be near me... I came out and two people parked on either side of me.. there was 3/4 of an empty lot and those a$$holes parked right beside me!

Same question when you go to whatever retail establishment....shoe horn in between a beat up chevvy and a rusted out toyota or drive to the end of the parking lot with no cars closer than 100 yards/meters/whatever?

I park as far away from the crowd as i can..
It also provides me another 45 seconds to minute of aerobic exercise!

As far as possible and usally close to a curb or pole so the car is only exposed on one side.

I carry safety cones in my trunk and block both spaces next to my car. Then i pull out the caution tape and go around them a few times. Then I spray paint my name in the spot on the ground so everyone knows its for me only.

I do try to park further away when I go to stores and things. I have a pretty private space at my work so no problems there. Then garaged here at home!

i usually park moderately close to doors, and i usually park with my front towards the road. i also when i pull in i check the doors on the cars next to me, just a glance, if they have paint chips of another color on the rim around the door, i usually move, or center my car like perfect i the space...

I hear that Snoop! There's no getting away from a$$holes no matter where you park! However, providing that they just parked there and didn't ding your paint, what probably happened to you is that two different people spotted your ride, pulled up to check it out, and then wandered off in a depressive fugue state because it wasn't their ride....

I suppose I did. However, before I got my Coupe, I would do this for a day or two, then just park as close the the door as I could get, taking the fatalistic approach that I was going to get dinged sooner or later....I suppose that will still happen no matter how much I try to avoid it (see Snoopy's post), but I am trying for the "later" mode. I was just curious as to how many Coupe owners took me old approach.....
